- Economy is a single 7kg allowance for your cabin bag plus one personal item. Excess found at the gate costs RM 50 per kg (odBags).
- Paying by card adds 3% to the whole fare on bookings from Australia. PayTo or a bank transfer avoids it (odCard).
- Super Saver has no checked bag and no refunds, and it can't be changed within 4 hours of departure (odFareRulesAU).
- On KUL–SYD/MEL flights, Batik currently gives extra bags for free (Super Saver 20kg, Value 25kg, Flexi 30kg). It says the offer can change without notice, so check your booking (odBags).
- Bags bought after booking, or for the flight back from Malaysia, are priced in ringgit and cost more. Book bags with the fare (odBags).
