Help.
Questions, a fee that looks wrong, or an airline you want added: email hello@faresfair.com.au. A real person reads it.
- Why does a fare say "not priced" or "not published"?
- Some airlines only show a fee (often the bag or the seat) deep in their booking flow, never on a public page. We don't guess, so instead of a made-up number we tell you that part is missing. The real price is at least what we show.
- The extension says "fees not checked yet".
- We haven't profiled that airline's fees yet. We add airlines by how often they turn up in searches. Email us if there's one you want sooner.
- The price at the airline is different from FaresFair's.
- Fares change minute to minute, and published fee ranges cover a whole region. Live fares are checked when you search; open a fare and choose “Show where the money goes” to see each part and where it came from. If a figure looks wrong, email us the route, date and airline and we'll check it against the airline's page.
- Is FaresFair free? How does it make money?
- Free, no account. If you click through to book, the booking site may pay us a small referral fee. It never changes the prices shown or the order they're in. Our promise.
- Does the extension track me?
- No. It only runs on Google Flights and when you choose “Check the real price”, and it only sends the airline, airports, price and stops to faresfair.com.au. No cookies, no history, no account.
- How do I remove the extension?
- Right-click its icon in Chrome's toolbar and choose “Remove from Chrome”. It stores nothing, so there's nothing left behind.
- How do I stop a price alert or remove my petition signature?
- Every alert email has a “Stop this alert” link, and your petition confirmation email has “Remove my details”. Both delete your email address with it. Can't find the email? Write to us and we'll do it by hand.
- Can I get my data deleted?
- Yes. We hold very little (see privacy), but email us from the address you used and we'll delete anything tied to it.
Still stuck? hello@faresfair.com.au.
