- From 2 February 2027 a Starter fare (and most bundles) on Jetstar Airways flights only includes one small underseat bag, not 7 kg; an overhead bag needs Priority Carry-on or a bundle that includes it (jqStarter)
- Changing a Starter fare costs A$75-120 per person per flight, more if it's within 30 days of departure, plus any fare difference (jqFees)
- Turning up with an unbought bag costs A$120 domestic or A$170 international for 20 kg, plus A$30-50 for every kilo over (jqAirport)
- Carry-on over the limit at the gate costs A$125 domestic or A$175 international, and the bag goes in the hold (jqAirport)
- Cards and PayPal are fee-free, but Afterpay adds 1.66% and Zip 1.77% to the booking (jqFees)
