- Economy Supersaver from Australia includes no checked bag at all; adding 20 kg costs A$141 each way online, or about A$700 at the airport at A$35 a kilo (prFareRules)
- Missing a Supersaver flight costs a A$300 no-show fee (A$95 on other economy fares), and Supersaver can't be refunded (prFareRules)
- PAL processes online payments in the Philippines, so an Australian card can attract your bank's foreign transaction fee (prOnlineBooking)
- An aisle seat costs about A$36 per flight if you pick it before check-in; window and middle seats are free (prSeats)
- PAL's A$21 ticketing service charge each way is already inside the ticket price, but you don't get it back if you cancel (prTaxesFees)
