- VN doesn't publish its economy fare types or their change and refund rules outside the booking flow, so you only find out what you can change or get back once you're booking (vnRefunds)
- You can cancel for a full refund on the same day you buy, if you spot a date or time mistake (vnRefunds)
- Economy pays to pick a seat in advance; VN only shows the price when you choose (vnSeats)
- An extra bag at the airport costs USD60 (about A$85) more than prepaying it online, and Vietnam-Australia bags cost more in peak periods (vnPrepaidBags)
